Les Hancock - Director

Les founded BCI Lawyers with Chris Mossman having retired from McCullough Robertson Hancock where he was a Partner and most recently the Managing Partner, for in excess of 30 years.

Les has extensive experience in Property Law, Banking and Finance, Commercial and Transactional Work, and Corporate Advice Work.

More recently, Les has specialised in corporate and commercial transactional work and the provision of strategic advice. He acts for large publicly listed entities, private companies and rural businesses in corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, commercial property transactions and general commercial dealings.

Having worked in a regional centre for nearly 30 years, Les has gained an extensive understanding of matters impacting upon regional and rural business and now has a unique expertise in those areas.

Les relocated to Brisbane at the end of 2004 to better serve his clients' growing demands for representation in the State's major business centre, but maintains his interest in rural and regional Queensland and will continue to provide representation in those areas.

Les strives to achieve innovative, cost effective and timely results for his clients and prides himself in having the necessary commitment to and passion for assisting his clients to succeed in their businesses.

Les is currently on the Board of Lindsay Australia Limited, chairs Lindsay Australia Limited’s Occupational Health and Safety Committee and is also a member of the Board of an 80 Bed Private Hospital owned by the Bundaberg Friendly Society Medical Institute.
